About Me

I lost my mother at a young age, so when it came to my first pregnancy, I didn’t realise how much I needed that extra support, (especially by a female). First pregnancies can be daunting, for me, I didn’t know how I would naturally fall in to the role of a mother, or realise how important it would be to be supported and nourished during the fourth trimester. When it came to my second, I felt as though I yearned for that support more so in the postpartum period. And then for my third daughter – she was the pregnancy I worked so hard on, the dream birth I fought for, and held high expectations (probably too high) of myself and what I wanted to achieve to close the chapter of pregnancy and birth as she would be our last. My last pregnancy is where I invested the most time, research and hired the best birth support team to help me through it – and guess what – everything I envisioned, hoped for and wanted, happened.

I acknowledge and empathise with women who have limited family support for whatever reason, which is why I am so passionate about providing that little extra support and care to help fill the void during this wonderful, sacred and memorable time.

As a doula working in Perth’s inner city and northern suburbs, I offer personalized birthing support which is discussed more in depth with each of my clients. My goal is to give you and your family the attention, knowledge and support you require to make informed choices about your pregnancy, labour and birth, and to help you achieve them whole heartedly.
